The Regional Workforce Development Plan originated in February 2008 with a kick-off event at the Corning Museum of Glass. Representatives from public and private sectors throughout the region announced their support, and excitement grew as stakeholders discussed the need for a comprehensive, region-wide plan.
It took about a year to collect feedback, document key statistics, draft and edit the Action Plan into the document you see today.
